- Quotes
Goober Pyle: [walks in after the hearing is over] I just heard about this hearing. Are y'all gonna send her back to prison? Listen, Helen, I know you can't talk now, but when your trial comes up, I'll be a character witness and after you served your time in the pen, well, you come on back and I'll give you a job at the filllin' station, checkin' tires or somethin'. And if worse comes to worse, well, you can go to another town and change your name.
Featured review
Andy has poor judgement multiple times.
TAGS masterfully blends a serious subject with zany humor. Funniest part is loose lips Goober getting outsmarted by Mrs Pendleton (Ruth McDevitt). George Lindsey has used the won't talk bit numerous times all gems. Andy's mistrust of Helen escalated the situation into a near disaster. Then he leaves confidential material on his desk for snoops to see. Dropping of charges seemed not enough detail to totally clear up the matter. What did Helen do? Finger the mob? In she in hiding? Helen was really forgiving. Andy deserved to get dumped. Helen (Aneta Corsaut) really was wearing some cute & expensive looking outfits.
