Guest star Meg Wylie, who appears as the chaperon of the two young ladies, is very well-known, though not as a woman, as she portrayed the leading bald-headed Talosian keeper, in the pilot of Star Trek (1966) ("The Cage"), which was re-used for the episodes "The Menagerie", parts 1 & 2 (though the character was voiced by Vic Perrin, and later re-voiced by Malachi Throne).
Guest star Judy Carne had previously co-started with Pete Duel on the short-lived, but well-received series, Love on a Rooftop (1966).
Guest star Meg Wylie's name is misspelled at the closing credits. She's listed as 'Meg Wyllie'.
Hayes tells the lady passengers that since they had been held up in a stage coach three weeks before, this stage coach won't be held up by outlaws (but it is). The time he speaks about was in < Stagecoach Seven (1971) but it was two weeks before this one.
At about the :15:00 mark, when Squint Simpson and Deputy Treadwell run out of the saloon to mount their horses to chase after Hayes and Curry, almost as if on cue one of the horses takes a dump. Normally such a thing as that would have been re-shot, but they don't do second takes in television (unless something really goes wrong) and it was left in. Most people probably never noticed it.
