For a moment I thought this would be an Airwolf free episode. Hawke and Santini attend a wedding of a Vietnamese friend called Minh. He Is now a farmer in America and is getting married.
However the Vietnamese immigrants who run a small farming community are getting harassed by a former Vietnamese warlord called Tranh Van Zung. He demands a voluntary tribute from the farmers or else.
That else being mayhem and murder. Minh and his friends are made to suffer for standing up to Zung's extortion attempt. Hawke has no option but to help his friends out.
Effectively a gangster extortion plot. Interestingly the Oscar winning movie Minari from 2020 focussed on the South Korean immigrant farming community in the USA of the 1980s.
