Pugsley utters an ugly 4-letter word when he tells his parents he wants to "work" (threatening to end a 300-year-old Addams tradition). Wouldn't he rather accept a generous allowance? No. Work is what's on his mind; however, his method of job-hunting leaves a lot to be desired as he invades, one by one, the inner sanctums of several occupations that strike his interest, with each in turn bringing him abruptly home, escorted by an angry professional. He, along with Wednesday, finally secures simple employment from a neighbor, but with very disastrous results.
