When the officers are dealing with the bulls, Malloy's car rolls to a stop. He gets out of the vehicle to help Reed with the bulls on the sidewalk. The next shot shows Malloy's car rolling to a stop again.
After they let the steer out of the building, Reed closes the glass door. When they are talking to MacDonald, the glass door can be seen in the background wide open.
A green Mustang with a black vinyl roof keeps changing position in the parking lot between shots.
When they stopped the bicycle Reed tells the cyclist that speed laws only apply to motor vehicles. Section 22350 of the vehicle code states a vehicle, not motor vehicle, so it is illegal to speed on a bicycle. The same applies to DUI on a bicycle.
When Reed & Malloy pull over the speeding blonde bicyclist, it's clearly a stunt woman with a long blonde wig with hair down past her waist. In the next scene, the actress signs the reckless cycling ticket and then turns to climb back on her bike and you can clearly see her hair now only goes halfway down her back.
There is no seat belt in Malloy's AMC Matador. As of 1967, all new vehicles built in the US were required to have seat belts installed. Lap belts and shoulder harnesses were mandatory in all post-1974. In California, seat belt use wasn't mandatory until 1986; Malloy's girlfriend doesn't put one on, however, a "by-the-book" officer such as Malloy would not have let her drive away without wearing one.
Jean shows up at the restaurant on foot after Jim drops her off at the phone booth. It has been said that there's no explanation for how she got to the restaurant, but there is. Jim tells her when he drops her off at the phone booth "If I'm not back in 15 minutes, call a cab and I'll meet you at the restaurant." Jean did just that - she called a cab and that is how she got to the restaurant.
The girl in the bicycle is told she was doing 45 mph, which is the average speed for a professional cyclist in a stage race. Aside from the improbability of a fairly new rider being able to go that fast on that style bicycle, the camera following shot while she's riding shows her to be going approximately 15 mph and she shows no sign of sweating when talking to the officers.
When Officer Reed tackles the robbery suspect behind the gas station, both of them fall over a lawn chair and bump the camera, causing it to wobble.
