The gold with white top 1968 Ford Mustang coupe 'crew car' is seen this time in a driveway when Reed and Malloy stop at the liquor store being robbed. It's also in traffic behind the white Cadillac with the driver who drops drugs in the street.
Code 6 = away from vehicle and radio communication, investigating at location specified. In the first of the two Code 6 instances, Malloy specifies that they are not investigating but out of service due to their flat tire which they are changing themselves.
Rivers' Gymnasium was featured two shows earlier in Log 54: Impersonation (1970) on an issue unrelated to the one featured here. However, there is brief reference to that earlier instance in the detective stating that Rivers will not talk to anyone but Malloy and Reed. That was the case earlier as Malloy and Reed wanted to send a detective to investigate a possible crooked detective who bilked Rivers out of some money, Rivers then stating no detectives investigating their own and that he would only talk to Malloy and Reed in any further investigation on that matter.
The car the man was trapped under appears to be a blue Mustang convertible (probably1969). The nameplate on the front fender is covered with silver tape.
211 = robbery.
