Jack Bauer : [to Sherek while in an interrogation room in which Jack intentionally locked the door from the inside] You are going to tell me.
Jack Bauer : [becoming agitated, shouting, after throwing the table over] What is happening at eight o'clock?
Erin Driscoll : [through the intercom, watching through the glass window] Holster your weapon! Jack! I said holster your weapon!
Erin Driscoll : [Jack shoots Sherek in the kneecap and screams in pain, to Sarah] Call Medical.
Jack Bauer : [still pointing his gun at him] What is your primary objective?
Erin Driscoll : I'll order Security to shoot you if I have to!
Ronnie Lobell : [to the security agents] Get that door open!
Jack Bauer : [presses his gun at Sherek's other knee cap] What is your primary objective?
Tomas Sherek : [while in pain] Secretary of Defense!
Erin Driscoll : [shocked] Heller.
Jack Bauer : Secretary Heller?
Tomas Sherek : [in pain] Yes.
Jack Bauer : [to Erin] Secretary Heller's the target, call Secret Service now
-
Erin Driscoll : [after Chloe enters her office] a truckload of C-4 just collided with a train outside Santa Clarita: free up some of your people, Division's going to send over data
Chloe O'Brian : That could be related to what we just found downstairs
Erin Driscoll : What'd you find?
Chloe O'Brian : Two things: first there was intelligence indicating the possibility of an attack at 8 o'clock this morning
Erin Driscoll : The bombing was at seven, that's within an hour of the intel. What's the second thing?
Chloe O'Brian : A Turkish national on the FBI watch list by the name of Tomas Sherek was last seen in the city, it could be related to the bombing
Erin Driscoll : Ok, open up channels with Division. Start investigating this bombing, work up what you have on Sherek, I'll brief you in a few minutes
Chloe O'Brian : What about the Defense Department meeting that's in half an hour?
Erin Driscoll : Who's Secretary Heller sending?
Chloe O'Brian : Jack Bauer
Erin Driscoll : Jack? You sure?
Chloe O'Brian : [Before leaving her office] yeah, he hasn't been back well, since you fired him
-
Curtis Manning : [Briefing CTU staff] alright, here's what we have: a known terrorist named Tomas Sherek managed to get into the country undetected. We believe there is a likelihood Sherek organized a train attack in Santa Clarita, if he did his going to get out of the country as fast as he can
Erin Driscoll : Which means we have a small window of opportunity here, who's covering airports and customs?
Edgar Stiles : [Raises his hand] I am, I've issued a mandate to LAX, Long Beach, and Ontario
Chloe O'Brian : [to Edgar] as usual we can't hear you also where's your laptop incase you need to pull data?
Edgar Stiles : I'm sorry, I'll speak up and I don't need my laptop I have everything memorized: what I was saying is I contacted all the airports and asked them to add another layer of security
Erin Driscoll : Do we have any local contacts for Sherek?
Sarah Gavin : I'm looking into those now
Erin Driscoll : Alright, promote everything we receive up to Division. let's find Sherek before he leaves the city, let's go
-
Jack Bauer : I'm sorry Secretary Heller couldn't be here today
Erin Driscoll : It's just as well. I'm sure you were told we have a protocol in progress so why don't we go down the items and get it over with?
Jack Bauer : It's fine with me
Erin Driscoll : I'll be direct with you, I didn't like the budget your boss proposed
Jack Bauer : What's the problem?
Erin Driscoll : Well, the Department of Defense is asking for eight dive percent of all interagency monies: which leaves very little for CTU
Jack Bauer : If you want a bigger piece of the pie, you're going to have to justify it
Erin Driscoll : I have a proposal for you
Jack Bauer : [after looking at her report] you want to use satellite surveillance for all the traffic at the harbor?
Erin Driscoll : Yes, problem?
Jack Bauer : Yes, it's insufficient. You need to maintain bodies on the ground
Erin Driscoll : Too expensive
Jack Bauer : Not if you utilize intelligence from the other agencies. Look, I'm not going to have Secretary Heller sign off on a budget that doesn't make sense
Erin Driscoll : I'll talk to Heller myself
Jack Bauer : No, you'll talk to me
