My Future's So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades
Hanson and Penhall pose as rich kids. They switch schools and become student at an elitist school.
The kind where the sons of the well heeled attend. The families have rich lawyers to keep them out of trouble.
Hanson and Penhall are after some students who raped a young woman who then later died. Her brother has been pestering the police over the case.
Taylor Rolator (Josh Brolin) is flashes is cash and buys booze. His friends then plies the girls with drinks at a party. Then they rape them.
Only for Hanson and Penhall realise that these guys are also dealing in drugs. Will they be outsmarted by the rich kids?
It was questionable how these two guys managed to become police officers by being so poor in English class. Penhall only claims to have read one book and Hanson knows nothing about literature. What do they do in High School all day?
There is a vigilantism subtext that was heavily foreshadowed.
