"Shakespeare or Bust" was of a trilogy of plays based on trips out taken by the same three characters - miners from Leeds. The other two plays are "The Fishing Party", set around a trip to Whitby, on the Yorkshire coast, and "Three for the Fancy", set around a trip to a 'fur and feathers' country show. These were all part of the BBC's "Play for Today" series, which produced numerous fantastic screenplays for TV in the 70s and early 80s (it was supposedly scrapped to reallocate funds towards the creation of Eastenders!)
