This was shown recently on Discovery Channel here on cable. Being already weary about the past documentaries I had watched which kind of showed only a side of the story, it's kind of a change as I watched this.
Other than the usual academics being featured, there are also a few who wrote and believed in the bloodline coming forward to stake their claims as well. A change indeed from the past documentaries I watched. This is then what I call a balance. Without those who believe in the bloodline, how can one make judgment at all just based on the words of the academics alone?
It's also definitely interesting when stuff like the Divine Proportion and the cryptex were being explored in the documentary. To lend even more authenticity, it even went to some of those places mentioned in the book as well. Especially for those who had read the book, it's good and fascinating (at least to me who had read it) to be more aware of the places mentioned.
I have to say overall it's not bad.
