There’s a lot of change ahead in Sleepy Hollow‘s rebooted fourth season, but you’ll recognize at least one face that pops up in Ichabod’s new stomping grounds.
A sizzle reel screened Sunday during the supernatural drama’s New York Comic Con panel gave the audience a taste of what Ichabod Crane’s life will be like after he relocates to Washington, D.C., and becomes involved with a secret, supernatural group based in the nation’s capital.

Here's a massive post-weekend catchup casting roundup, with a headlining turn from Jean-Claude van Damme. How can you resist the Muscles From Brussels? Answer: you can't. Just give in to his suave, over-confident appeal. After the break you'll find details about: Jcvd taking part in a sci-fi film called UFO, Danny Glover joining the cast of a different sci-fi thriller, Mentryville, Sullivan Stapleton becoming the latest member of the Gangster Squad, Nico Tortorella from Scream 4 joining Guy Pearce and Amy Ryan in an indie, and What to Expect When You're Expecting adds more. Kicking off with UFO, the story here (per THR [1]) is that the writer/director, Dominic Burns, got Jean-Claude Van Damme to take a part in the film by emailing the actor's wife. That works? Evidently so! He'll be "a retired military advisor," but we don't know how big the part actually is. The film is about...

Spores. It's just not a very pleasant word, is it? Nothing about it is warm or inviting. In fact, the word more or less implies that you should go nowhere near these things. The only trouble? Various kinds are everywhere. There is no safe haven. Especially if a specific strain turns deadly!
According to Variety American World Pictures has bought worldwide rights to the upcoming film Spores from StudioLine Entertainment founder Greg Strasburg at Cannes.

Public Enemies (Universal) Johnny Depp portrays legendary Depression-era bank robber John Dillinger in co- writer/director Michael Mann’s take on America’s first “Public Enemy Number One.” Like many big studio releases today, Public Enemies has it all: A-list talent before and behind the camera, but lacks a heart or soul that allows its audience to connect with it. Film plays out like a “true crime” TV show with re-enactments of famous events cast with top actors and shot by the best technicians in the business, with little, if any, character or story development to hold it together in between. A real disappointment from one of our finest filmmakers and finest actors. The lone standout: the great character actor Stephen Lang as a hard-eyed lawman who’s seen a lot, but manages to retain a tiny piece of his heart. For a better take on the same subject,...

After a little bit of digging, the sick geniuses behind Netherbeast Incorporated (review), The Ronalds Brothers, have just handed me another scoop of dirt and this time it’s straight from The Graves!
Written and directed by comic book author Brian Pulido (Lady Death/Evil Ernie) The Graves was shot in May 2008 in Wickenberg, Arizona at the Vulture City abandoned gold mines. It stars Bill Moseley(Devils Rejects/House of a 1000 Corpses), Tony Todd (Candyman/The Rock), Amanda Wyss (Nightmare on Elm Street/Better Off Dead), Lamb of God’s front man D Randall Blythe, and newcomers Clare Grant (“Valerie Under the Stairs”) and Jillian Murray (Fun Park/Legacy).
“After scaring readers on the page for years, I’m looking forward to bringing the frights directly into theaters and homes,” Pulido said. The Graves is about two inseparable sisters whose visit to a remote mine town takes a turn into...
