Ana Hickmann has a cameo as a passenger on Padilha's cab. En route, they are kidnapped by a gunman who claims to be her fan. Padilha ultimately succeeds in getting the attention from cops. In May 21, 2016, Hickmann was attacked by a real life gunman who broke into her hotel room in Belo Horizonte. The stalker was subdued by Hickmann's brother-in-law Gustavo Correa, who shot him down.
Marcelo Serrado and André Segatti were assaulted by a driver after filming scenes in Rio de Janeiro. Leonardo Vieira testified for them as a witness. The driver disliked that Vieira had touched his car after the actors were almost run over moments before. He answered by punching Vieira on his face and hitting Segatti with his car.
Ana Hickmann, Marcos Mion, Kelly Key and telenovela creator Lauro César Muniz are some of the celebrity cameos, as Padilha's cab passengers. Mion and Muniz appeared to promote their respective then upcoming shows, Savage (2006) and Scars (2006).
