  [tosses him the cross and begins to climb the rocks]

  [a rock becomes dislodged and falls towards MacGruder]

  Ned White : Well, it prides me that it's rubbed off on you plenty. Always remember, son, in this world sheer cussedness will carry you farther than a Comanche's pony.

• [Colton sees Ned's rifle on Hollister's saddle] 

  Colton White : That's a fine-looking rifle. Ho'd you come by it?

  Hollister : Pried it from the cold, dead hands of an Indian-loving fool.

• [Reed is defeated, and tries to run. Colton shoots him in the leg, and he falls] 

  Reverend Josiah Reed : Ah, my leg! You can't kill me, I'm unarmed! You kill me, and your soul will be as cursed as mine...!
