- Released for both the PlayStation and Windows PCs. The PC version has smoother graphics and a higher draw distance, as well as some minor graphical changes in certain levels. Additionally, the soundtrack in the PC version is slightly compressed and excludes a single song from the PlayStation version.
- In European versions of "Croc 2", the player can buy various "Jelly Jumps" from Swap Meet Pete which allow Croc to bounce in the air and reach areas too high for his regular jump. In North America, these items were changed to Gummi Savers as part of a multi-million dollar brand deal with Nabisco at the time of the game's release; as such, the models are changed to look like Gummi Savers, and all text/dialogue has been edited accordingly throughout the game.
