Co-created by “Hill Street Blues” boss Bochco and Eric Lodal (“The Locrian Mode”), the series will follow a single case through its entire 10-episode first season. Set in San Francisco, “Murder in the First” centers on homicide detectives Terry English (Diggs) and Hildy Mulligan (Robertson) as they investigate the murder of an apparent drug addict.
