There is a scene with a stripper dancing provocatively

There are a couple scenes in the show that imply characters have sex. Though it is never shown or heard, just implied/referenced.

Season 1 has a strip club scene.

No on screen sex. Implied sex and assualt.

Talks of sexual assault.

Sexual threats from prisoners.

Michael is threatened with rape in prison.

Season 2: A few sences there's a woman is in her bra and underwear, there is a close up of her chest.

There is a homosexual prisoner named T-Bag, there is severe sexual threats made by him to other prisoners as he is a rapist. There are scenes where he has maimed other prisoners and is about to take off his pants to rape them while saying suggestive things to them. But he is generally stopped before it continues.

Much more 'rape' content than shawshank redemption.

A mans hand is cut off. He later carries it in a bucket filled with ice. (Shown onscreen)

The language is rather tame for a prison drama, 'shit', 'bastard', 'retard', 'bitch', 'damn', 'hell' are all said.

This show can be quite violent at times with stabbings, beatings and shootings but never overly graphic.

Main character works outside the system to free his brother from jail. Kids may find the character T-Bag frightening.
