The best Dutch comedy/improvisation show of all time
idmv23 January 2006
Warning: Spoilers
De Lama's is a great series for those who understand Dutch and don't mind rude jokes. Not only can you see how the lama's improvise scenes, but also how famous people from all over the world are made fun of and the series is without a doubt incredibly popular. It is based on 'whose line was it anyway' and the results are most hilarious. Dutch television will never be the same again and no audience remains quiet whilst watching the lama's do their thing. Of course, not all jokes are funny, but where one joke fails another makes up for all the lesser ones. For those people that want to have a good laugh this is the best show to watch. Fantastic improvised songs, funny remarks and great games make De lama's perfect for a night of entertainment.

The best show that will ever have existed

This show is THE most entertaining show I have ever watched. When the show started, in 2004, it still was a bit experimental and there were no full time actors (apart from Tijl, Ruben N and later Ruben vd M). These part time actors were quite obviously not very funny. I assume that is why this show has a rating of only a 7.9 . Arie was pretty funny, but still not at the level of the other dudes. Then when Jeroen came and replaced Arie the show exploded. That period with the cast consisting of Tijl, Ruben, Ruben and Jeroen was the best period of any show ever in my opinion. I understand English quite well and I have watched a considerable amount of footage from 'Whose line is it anyway' and I must say hat I find de lama's much much more entertaining and funny. If you understand Dutch fluently there is no better show to entertain you.
