Why are people writing about the movie instead of the game?

THIS IS THE VIDEO GAME, PEOPLE!!! NOT THE MOVIE!

Anyway, I remember playing this game as a kid and I loved it. I loved the fact that it was different from the movie. I liked the Gorgon world and the music was incredible. We have tribal themes for the Gorgonites and the military themes for the Commandos.

The music for the end credits is just amazing.

And I liked the fact that Archer could unleash the other Gorgonites to help him fight the Commandos.

But this game is far from perfect.

The controls are stiff. Well, it is PS1 game. We you go around a corner, Archer appears to get stuck. Also, he moves like he is drunk.

You do get confused and have no clue where to go. I HATE it when game do that!

Also, only four of the Commandos appear in the game.

Think that Chip Hazard is the final boss?

Well, think again. He is one of the enemies that appear throughout the game.

Yeah, the main villain from the movie is just a minion.

And you thought the fight between Archer and Chip in the movie sucked.

The final boss is a giant flying robot holding a big, long, red rod. I do think Chip Hazard is in it, though.

It is also a pretty easy game to play and you'll finish it in 2 days.

Now this is the part where you go: "Part it in hard mode, then!"

Well........ no big difference. Just more enemies.

Worth playing for the nostalgia and music, but if you're expecting a better game, look elsewhere.

I adore this film

First of all...... I have a crush on Archer.

Hey, what can I say? I really like cats! And he is a cat-man. An intelligent, sensitive one. Those are difficult to find in American film. Usually manimals are shown as violent and stupid (think about how werewolves are usually portrayed). I think this film works on a number of different levels, like Donnie Darko. There is the pure entertainment value, and under that is a sharp critique of violent action and prejudice as well as the ineffectiveness of war in problem-solving. Plus, as an Anti-Barbie woman myself, I must admit to grinning wickedly at the Gwendy Dolls and their eventual fate. Mwahahahahahaha!

This movie rules!

An excellent movie for kids and adults alike. I have seen this movie several times and I never get tired of it. Very well done. Although he is an "animated" character, I truly felt for Archer and his plight (and I'm a grown woman)!! I wanted to wrap him up and take him home with me. Awesome little film with non-stop action throughout. I love it! I was kept on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. The animated characters are so true to life that you forget they aren't real. I'm not sure how well this movie did at the box-office, but for those who have not seen it, it's a real treat. Like the Wizard of Oz, this one will be an annual tradition in my home for years to come.

Great movie for kids and adults.

i loved this movie from its beginning.

it contains all the clichés about good and evil, the necessity of wars and what is true love.

and clichés or not...it is made with a lot of cute and loving attention to the characters appear in the movie and especially to the toys...and most of all to the "Gorgonite scam"...which presents the different and weak in a human light..

as i said in the end i loved most of all the Gorgonite scam cause of their companionship, their acknowledging of their weaknesses, and their ability in times needed to become heroes and brave ...unlike the aggressiveness of the commando elite.

Enjoy it.
