The remains of Ronnie Van Zant, whose memorial at Jacksonville Memory Gardens cemetery had been vandalized in 2000 (#69), were moved to a different location that was unknown to the public. However, the actual location was accidentally revealed years later in a Craigslist ad when a family trying to sell two plots on the website stated in their ad that the plots were adjacent to Van Zant's tomb, which is located at Riverside Memorial Park 9 miles down the road. Van Zant's casket is, this time, sealed in a heavy concrete vault that is monitored by security.

The death of Tupac has since been solved to the satisfaction of the Las Vegas Police (#30). In 2002, The Los Angeles Times printed a story reported by Chuck Phillips in which he reported that the shooting was perpetrated by a Compton gang called The Southside Crips as vengeance for the beating of gang member Orlando Anderson by Shakur several hours before. Anderson became a person of interest to the Las Vegas Police and was interviewed, leaving them to consider him a suspect. Unfortunately, Anderson was killed in an unrelated shooting two years later.
