"There's something out there waiting for us, and it ain't no man." Who has time to bleed when there's a predator lurking around? Everything is getting re-released these days! Why not? France is preparing for a re-release coming up this August of a newly restored (apparently only in 2K, not full 4K though) version of John McTiernan's original sci-fi action film Predator. Originally released in 1987, Predator stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers, Elpidia Carrillo, Bill Duke, Jesse Ventura, Sonny Landham and Richard Chaves. Years after release it has become known as one of the best action movies made, and this trailer lives up to that claim with plenty of explosions. Of course this will make you want to see it again. Here's the new restored French re-release trailer (+ poster) for John McTiernan's Predator, from Vimeo: A team of commandos on a mission in a Central American jungle find themselves hunted by an extra-terrestrial warrior.

Back in 2010, Robert Rodriguez gave us a "Predator" reboot, called "Predators." The film had a budget of only $40 million, something that Rodriguez said was low for a reason, the studio wanted to see if there was interest in the franchise. "Predators" went on to gross $127 million globally, but we have yet to hear anything about a sequel, until now. A teaser image has appeared on the official "Predators" Facebook page, hinting that we'll hear an announcement about "Predators 2" during the San Diego Comic-Con. The image contains a map of San Diego and a quote from the original 1984 movie: "There's something out there waiting for us, and it ain't no man. We're all gonna die." Check out the image below. 20th Century Fox recently said that it's Comic-Con panel will include presentations for "The Wolverine," "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes," and a surprise movie. Many assumed the surprise has...

We're rounding up the best of your comments and reviews on our My favourite film series, in which our writers pick their favourite films of all time.
Here's what you had to say in week two, when we bigged up the films Some Like It Hot, The Consequences of Love, The Big Lebowski, Beautiful Girls and – can it be? – Predator
"One of the best closing lines ever," said shodfather in response to Becky Barnicoat's nomination of Some Like It Hot, which opened the second week of our My favourite film series in giggling, jiggling style. Billy Wilder's note-perfect comedy stars Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis as two musicians, disguised as women, who join an all-girl band to escape the mob. "Even on my X-tieth viewing I laughed at jokes I'd missed before," said Becky of a film that was "the sum of many impeccable parts". Some of them, according to nocod,...

Fearne Cotton has said that she "looks like a boy" when wearing dresses. The Radio 1 DJ blamed not having "any boobs" for being unable to wearing certain shapes of dresses. Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Cotton said that she wants to "look my best" for her new boyfriend, model and musician Jesse Wood. "I don't have any boobs, so I can't wear beautiful dresses - I look like a boy in them. The glamorous shapes of the '70s suit me more, in that kind of floaty, bohemian way," she said. "I like to get my legs out but not my arms. But that's the beauty of fashion. There's something out there for every shape going.
"I'm in a new relationship and I want to look my best. You get a new-found confidence, and your clothes usually reflect that. But if you can prolong that feeling where you still want (more)...
