DC Universe has released an official photo of Krypto the Superdog from Titans. The big reveal for Krypto came during the post-credits scene of the Titans season finale alongside Superboy. The dog has a much different look than fans were expecting.
It’ll be interesting to see how these characters end up being utilized and played with in the upcoming second season. While talking to EW, Titans showrunner Greg Walker was asked about the reveal of Superboy in the finale, and what role he'll take in the show. He replied:
"It’s still brewing. What I can say is that we still want to take the same dimensionalized and psychologically grounded approach that we do with the other characters and apply that same pressure to Conner Kent and see what shakes out when you put a character like that through that test. You know, questions of identity, questions of powers,...

Warner Bros. and DC are going to the dogs.

Who's a good boy? Who is a very good boy? There's a Super Pets movie coming. Krypto is ready for his close up.
Finally, someone is going to put Krypto in a movie. No, I mean it, I actually think this is a fantastic idea. Back in August Collider broke the news that Jared Stern is writing an animated DC Super Pets movie for Warner Bros. Now THR has word that Stern will also direct, alongside Sam Levine, and that the movie will open on May 21, 2021.
You see, Krypto is a very good boy. Wait, sorry. I just love dogs, and I've been waiting for someone to put Krypto in the spotlight. The Krypto The Superdog animated series than ran from 2005-2006 didn't really catch on, although he has fared better in appearances elsewhere, notably an episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and as a recurring character on Young Justice.

Looks like that Hanna Barbera reboot of DC comics is going pretty well! I saw this ultra-realistic Flintstones comic a couple weeks ago and it tripped me out! Maybe I'll have to start picking these up.

Adding some living dead humor to April Fools' Day, Skybound has revealed a mock cartoon series, The Walking Dead Kids!, which is "teased" in a new promo featuring familiar characters from Robert Kirkman's comic book series, including Carl, Rick, Michonne, and Andrea, as well as Clementine from Telltale's The Walking Dead video games and a zombified twist on Krypto the Superdog: Zed the Undead Canine.
Revealed by our friends over at TheWalkingDead.com and featuring subtitle narration that offers insights into the April Fools' Day joke, The Walking Dead Kids! was created for the (once again, mock) AMChildren Saturday morning schedule, a "new initiative" from AMC. Cartoonist Howie Noel drew the character of The Walking Dead Kids!, giving us an awesome retro take on the zombie-slaying characters, as they look like they could follow in the footsteps of the Harlem Globetrotters and guest star on an installment of The New Scooby-Doo Movies.

Warner Bros.
Looks like DC have blinked first in their game of chicken against Marvel. As expected, to be honest, Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice has had its release date brought back from May 6, 2016 to March 25 of the same year, in order to stop in clashing with the third Captain America film. It’ll now go head-to-head with Brett Ratner’s Beverly Hill Cops reboot/sequel/remake/whatever, which we’re pretty sure the combined might of the World’s Finest superheroes can deal with.
Taking another leaf out of Marvel’s book, Warner Bros have also gone and announced the release dates for nine DC superhero movies, running all the way up until 2020. Which is ambitious, considering Batman V Superman will only be the second entry in the “shared universe” they’re looking to build up to rival the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Of course they’ve not actually...

The hour is upon us. The Man of Steel is about to be released and fans the world over are chomping at the bit to get their hands on tickets to the Superhero movie event of 2013.
Starring Henry Cavill in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, the blockbuster focuses on the trials of the young journalist as he is forced to embrace his alien heritage when the planet and people he loves are threatened by a dark invading force from his home world. Anticipation has been high ever since the film was announced, especially with the involvement of Zack Snyder, Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer all of whom are more than adept at transforming iconic comic books into kick ass movie franchises.
The film also stars Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, and Russell Crowe.

There's a glimpse of an apple and seven dwarfs in the trailer for this big screen re-imagining of the Snow White story, but most of it is Charlize Theron looking unquestionably evil
This year's Red Riding Hood set a bold new template for contemporary fairytale reworkings, by ignoring most of what people liked about the original and making the rest of it all insufferable and Twilighty. It's a formula that next summer's Snow White and the Huntsman would do well to stick to.
Luckily, a Snow White and the Huntsman trailer has already emerged online, meaning that we're incredibly well placed to judge it. So what parts of the original Snow White story does Snow White and the Huntsman retain? And how does it differ? Let's comb through the trailer for clues ...
1) It would appear that there's still an evil queen in Snow White and the Huntsman, played by Charlize Theron.

More photos from the set of Zack Synder’s Superman: Man of Steel have appeared online, but unlike many of the most recent images that have featured Henry Cavill in full costume as the Last Son of Krypton, this latest batch show him as Clark Kent, albeit looking somewhat apprehensive and considerably more beardy than we’ve come to expect from the usually mild-mannered, clean-cut character.
From what we can gather by these photos, it seems as if Clark has fallen on hard times; aside from his beard, he’s wearing worn, shapeless clothes and to make matters worse it’s raining on him. Yes, it seems even super-powered Kryptonians have bad days.
Still, it does look like he’s found a new friend to help him through his darkest days – a dog can be seen on set with Cavill in one of the pictures. No word yet as to...

Superman's planned team-up with a Muslim superhero has been cancelled at the last minute. As part of the 'Grounded' storyline, the Man of Steel was originally intended to fight alongside the new character Sharif in Superman #712, which was released this week. Instead, the issue contained a story about Krypto the Superdog that was originally created by Kurt Busiek and Rick Leonardi during Busiek's 2007 run, but never saw print. "DC Comics determined that the previously solicited story did not work within the 'Grounded' storyline," said the publisher in its newsletter to retailers on Tuesday night. "However, Chris Roberson will be back for the final two issues of Superman's year long walk across America." Roberson has expressed his disappointment (more)...
