During the first series, Christopher Eccleston is credited as "Doctor Who", as set in the Classic Series. Beginning with the second series - reportedly at the behest of the show's new star, David Tennant - the credit has been changed to read "The Doctor".
On the 2012 episodes, the title logo is decorated with a motif related to each episode's theme. On episode one, "Asylum of the Daleks", it was decorated with dots like the ones covering a Dalek body. On episode 2 Dinosaurs on a Spaceship (2012) it was decorated in green-like vegetation. On episode 3, "A Town Called Mercy" it was made of wooden boards, like the buildings of the Far West town on the episode. And on episode 4, "The Power of Three", it was decorated with a pattern made of cubes.
Each episode has a pre-credits sequence, and a trailer for the following episode at the end. Episode one has no pre-credits sequence(except for 5.1 " The Eleventh Hour", and episode thirteen has no trailer.
