They tougher than the dudes
This is part of the Resident Evil Collection, which has the first four films in the series, with extras for all, though not quite in equal amounts. It's off the second in the series, and has a running time of 11 minutes, the last 30 seconds or so being end credits. This consists of film clips, interviews and behind the scenes footage.
They talk about the various aspects of, well, see the title. The actresses. Characters. Guns. Martial arts. It being a more recent tendency to have female action heroes. Gender norms, with members of both sexes adding their individual perspectives and experiences. At times, these get kind of stereotypical and, well, nasty. You could argue whether it makes it better or worse that the fiercest things said about girls(who are of course the "target") are said by them, not the men.
Their femininity being kept intact, while they're firing weapons and otherwise dealing damage. Adding the aspects from the games that they could, such as Jill Valentine's stand-by wiggle, seen when she's waiting around before moving on. The size difference between Alice and Nemesis, and what that meant. Training for it. Working nights rather than days, and the toll that can take. Add to that the location, not in-studio, shooting.
I recommend this to anyone who wants to know more about this aspect of the picture. 7/10
