B.S. on the half shell
Marc Cushman/Cash Markman's claim to fame (at least IMDb fame, Adult ghetto) is having at least a thousand scripts produced, no mean feat as long as one doesn't examine the results. This technically isn't one of them (no script credit), as he directed an ill-conceived junker of porn actors playing themselves.
What results isn't fantasy but merely generic porn gussied up with the sort of self-serving bull that these players usually dish out on those dreadful, ubiquitous BTS short subjects that pass for Bonuses on DVDs. Perhaps the internet and streaming revolution will end the need (and hopefully existence) of these BTS interviews in future, but perhaps aiming to fill some porno time capsule dear Mr. Cushman dropped this load on an unsuspecting public.
Defying even his own self-instructions, he fails to depict what the stars claim are their erotic fantasies during the verbal drivel portion of the program. So in most of the five pointless sex vignettes, the action does not follow what we've just heard Randy Spears or Brooke Banner claim they dream about.
Opening scene has both Roxanne Hall and then Spears interviewed, with Randy honest in mentioning his all-abiding foot fetish, demonstrated in countless films he's made including an excellent Penthouse video he directed titled "Stiletto". He refers to it as a leg fetish, to be precise. But when it comes to the dumb scene of humping Hall through the bars of a jail cell, the culmination of the in & out action is a facial, not the beloved ejaculation-on-feet climax that Spears has delivered in countless shows. Go figure.
So it goes, as the parade of talent look at the camera and pretend to be sincere. What they say is no different than what they've been forced to repeat a thousand times as a part of promoting this or that gig, and just as tiresome. The sex is thoroughly forgettable and not the stuff that dreams are made of, to quote not only that famous Bogey line in "The Maltese Falcon" but Markman's version of the line in one of his so-titled Penthouse junkers.
