On the heels of the theatrical and VOD debut of Vice last Friday, Bruce Willis is re-teaming with the producers of that sci-fi thriller for another movie called Extraction. This one will similarly shoot in Alabama and similarly sounds like another cheap genre flick suited for a direct-to-video release coupled by good box office overseas. According to Deadline, Willis will play a CIA agent who is kidnapped and has to be rescued by his son, who is also a CIA agent, when the government passes on mounting a mission themselves. Is it just a role-reversed remake of A Good Day to Die Hard? Should they just cast Jai Courtney as the younger spy and some foreign markets can actually retitle it A Good Day to Die Hard 2 on their DVD covers? Extraction will be directed by Steven C. Miller, helmer of the 2012 Silent Night, Deadly Night remake, and is written by someone named Umair Aleem, who...

Steven Seagal has made only one horror movie to date, and that was 2009's Against the Dark, in which he had a cameo that found him beating off vampires. Yet, here at Dread Central we've been known to cover the world of the bizarre and the paranormal. You're about to learn something about Seagal that is beyond bizarre...

Steven Seagal was Above The Law, but he was too Hard To Kill so now he's been Marked For Death by Jamaicans who are Out For Justice. Can he live while Under Siege and On Deadly Ground? Could you survive while Under Siege...

“Knife Edge” sees the return to the horror genre of director Anthony Hickox, who back in the late 1980s and early 1990s turned out a string of popular, offbeat favourites including “Waxwork”, its sequel “Lost in Time”, and “Sundown: the Vampire in Retreat”, the latter two featuring the legendary Bruce Campbell. Although Hickox did have a stab at the relatively big time with “Hellraiser: Hell on Earth”, since then he had stuck mainly to television affairs and standard action films, such as the Eddie Griffin vehicle “Blast” and Steven Segal’s “Submerged”. With his being one of the more creative genre directors, who always managed to bring a certain sense of ghoulish fun to his productions, fans should certainly be glad to see him coming back to the fold, and although “Knife Edge” is not a particularly great film by his standards, it is still a cut above the usual direct to DVD drudgery.
