The plane (Luftwaffe) used to fly the Krauzenberg's family out of Germany and into Switzerland is a Dakota (DC) which was only used by the Western Allies (US, British and Canadians) . Surely this is a mistake?
The Swiss flags at the border and at "Rheinau" station are those used only up to the 18th century. From 1848 onward, the now familiar cross was universally used as the national flag.
The "Rheinau" station name plate is not a Swiss design. Swiss stations traditionally used white-on-blue signs.
