dark and intense picture...very touching
with beautiful and strong images the director creates a dark, enchanting world of it's own. I saw this short at a festival an found it absolutely outstanding. The director is capable of creating intensity which reminds you of Tarkowskij or Bergman - truly touching. It's a story of an old man, who lives in the ruins of a run-down factory which obviously used to be his workplace. A small, yet enchanting cosmos, full of allusions and bitter-sweet memories. This one is beautifully photographed in black and white, which adds to the dense atmosphere - as well does the slightly oriental melancholy music, which adds another colour.
Well done, I hope to see more of this promising young director, whose work truly touched me. If you ever get the chance to see this film...
