Fast & Furious is going global.
Vin Diesel took to Facebook Live on Wednesday to announce that the Fast & Furious franchise will now be a live show.
"As you know, my work with Fast & Furious never ends, which I'm grateful for because of you all," the 50-year-old actor said. "So now, I am in New York, believe it or not, and we are filming something that is going to be pretty state-of-the-art, something no one's ever seen before, which is a live show. I think it's first gonna be a show at the O2 Arena in London that's gonna go all over the world and we're really excited about it. But it'll be a way for you to kind of see the action firsthand."
"I'm in the middle of shooting it right now," he added. "It's amazing how many studios there are in New York City now."

Charlize Theron is the coolest mom ever! The 41-year-old actress visited Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday where she opened up about her kids’ perception of her career.

“At a very young age, someone asked my eldest, ‘What does your mom do for a living?’” Theron said of her son, Jackson. “He just straight up was like, ‘Uh, she does Halloween for a living’… I realize that they’ve just seen me do such crazy-a** stuff.”
Later in the show, the mother of two also embraced her South African roots using a korfball to shoot some hoops for the Kimmel audience. Clad in a black designer gown, Theron tried a shot from the half-court line before moving up to take a foul shot.
On her third try, she sunk the shot, winning everyone a pair of Kevin Durant sneakers.

President Barack Obama was “Running Wild With Bear Grylls” on Thursday night, and the Internet went crazy. Filmed in Alaska last September, the highly-anticipated episode airing on NBC got a very warm reception on social media. Obama and Grylls traveled across the rugged Alaskan terrain, and chatted about what it means to be a father who happens to be president, his relationship with his wife and children, balancing time between work and home, and — on a more serious note — the global impact of climate change. Unless you’ve dug through the archives and skimmed through some of my older reviews, you probably don’t know that I’m a big fan of local multiplayer games. Sure, online is great and all, but there’s a sense of intimacy and camaraderie that can only be cultivated by sitting in the same room with your friends and family, and sitting down to play something together. Granted, this isn’t always an easy feat. Whether it be the intimidation that some feel when it comes to video games in general, or the lack of necessary devices and peripherals required, there are plenty of excellent games that have (for me) fallen by the wayside, simply because I found myself with no one to play with.

Will anybody be able to beat NBC to the table?
Sleepy Hollow is a dated property. I know that’s an obvious thing to say about a story that was originally written in the early ninteenth century, but I just want to remind everybody before we get into all of this nonsense. I’d also like to point out that the only reason Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow (1999) was able to succeed as a movie was the combination of brilliant direction, brilliant acting, and a novel, modern take on a classic tale. In other words, because of Tim Burton. Now Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci will be selling (and some poor rube of a network Will buy) and eventually writing the script for a new television series that will follow the continued adventures of Ichabod Crane.
As a duo, Kurtzman and Orci have precisely the type of CV that gets...

Given the law of averages, it’s fairly common that as film fans we’re far more likely to run into a stinker than we are a new classic, or worse still a underwhelming slice of anti-climax that promised so much more. Quite often that leaves us deciphering a mess and hanging on to small morsels of consolation from an ultimately wasted couple of hours.
The end result of this is that you, on occasion, may stumble across a disproportionately good turn from the only actor in the movie who seemed to be taking their work seriously. You could make a legitimate claim that this is far more worthy than excellent acting in Oscar bait, but such feats are so often ignored and dismissed along with its mediocre surround.
Here is a run down of ten such performances, a rare moment...

It seems fitting that Edgar Allen Poe, the author who invented detective fiction with "The Murders in the Rue Morgue" in 1841, should tackle a mystery involving his own stories.
That's the premise of "The Raven," an anti-biopic that casts Poe (John Cusack) as a reluctant hero out to catch a Baltmore serial killer who's using his stories as the basis for some grisly murderousness. Directed by James McTeigue of "V For Vendetta," you might call this one "P For Poe," or perhaps "A For Awesome."
1. The choice to use Poe came after an initial pitch for "One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Dead Fish: The Dr. Seuss Murders."
2. For a second we thought Alice Eve was re-enacting a scene as The Bride from "Kill Bill: Volume 2."
3. The killer gets the jump on a generic policeman who has "cannon fodder" written all over him.
4. "Let's see ... Pit? Check. Pendulum?...

Oldman, Carlyle go 'Fish'
LONDON -- The producers of Dead Fish said Tuesday that Gary Oldman (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) and Robert Carlyle (Black and White) would round out the cast for the black comedy thriller. The duo play alongside Billy Zane (Titanic), Jimi Mistry (The Guru), Elena Anaya (Sex and Lucia) and Andrew Lee Potts (Band of Brothers) in the picture, which started shooting this month on location in London. Directed by Charley Stadler, the movie is billed as a twisting tale of mistaken identities, double-crosses, merciless killers and unrequited love. Fish is an Orange Pictures and German fund IMF (Internationale Medien Film) production in association with L.A.-based production company Franchise Pictures and SE8 Group. Based on a story by Stadler and Thomas Geiger, and scripted for the screen by Adam Kreutner and Dave Mitchell, the movie is produced by Dan Maag, Philip Schulz-Deyle, Elie Samaha and Matthias Deyle. Executive producer is Douglas Urbanski. Franchise Pictures is also handling the worldwide sale of rights to the picture.
