good movie
Hello friends,
All that i can say about this film is that its was a V emotional film which really made me like crying.
I still remember I was around 12 n the movie gt released, at that time I didn't watched it, I just listened to the songs. But a yr later i guess it got premiered on DD channel n then i Watched it as my Elder brother said its a good movie. And really it was a good movie. The movie Failed terribly on the Box office as far as collections are concerned.
But in my life i have never went for a movie looking at there box office collections. I appreciate movies which touches me and as long as the performances r good.

Aditya Panscholis action image went against it.
Yaad Rakhegi Duniya review :
After watching Sushant Singh Rajput's last film 'Dil Bechara', I was reminded of this film called Yaad Rakhegi Duniya released way back in 1992 and featuring young Aditya Panscholi with debutant Rukhsar.
Like Dil Bechara, this film too was a love story between two terminally ill couple and how they find redemption with each other.
Aditya Panscholi was known for his action image in those days (both onscreen and offscreen) and the audience couldn't accept him playing such a soft character. Rukhsar did one more forgetable film called 'Inteha Pyaar Ki' (1992) with Rishi Kapoor and called it quits only to resurface after a decade in a mature avatar with RGV's 'D' (2002). Her recent cameo in Uri The Surgical Strike (2019) won her accolades.

Beautiful love story
Beautifully made film , it didnt do well in box office might be due to the lack of big names in the movie...
