Sex & Nudity

- You see a girl showering in the background of a locker room (rear nudity).
- Two boys shower together and kiss each other on the lips.
- A guy kisses his girlfriend. The girlfriend acknowledges that her upcoming "appointment" might have something to do with their recent camping trip.
Violence & Gore

- A teenage boy corners a teenage couple in a meat locker. He plays "eeny meeny miny moe" to decide which one to kill. We hear the couple begging for mercy.
- A girl is shot in the face, with blood splattering behind her (but there's no entry wound).
- A teenage boy is shot in the chest when he steps out of the classroom. The teacher drags him back into the classroom leaving a bloody trail. A man is shot three times, and he slumps down. Two boys are shot in the chest.
- Several other teens are gunned down (seen from a distance). We see several corpses as the camera glides across rooms and down hallways.
- There are little sounds heard other than gunshots when people are shot, however.
- A boy plays a video game in which the objective is to shoot people in the back.

- A boy says his parents are being retarded as an insult (same scene shown a couple times from different points of view)
- 13 fucks, 6 shits, and 4 bitches. Also 4 instances of "hell" and "God".
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Smoking: a couple students smoke on the field.
- Two student workers sneak into the cafeteria cooler and smoke what looks like pot.
- One student's father is drunk while driving him to school. He swerves all over the road and sideswipes a car. We are later told the father is an alcoholic.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The shooting sequence is extremely disturbing.
- Three teenage girls are bulimic, and can be heard vomiting in the bathroom.
- The scenes of minor bullying can still be somewhat intense due to its realism.

Violence & Gore
- Nothing really happens in the movie until the final 15 minutes, where two characters go on a shooting rampage. The blood and the sound of the guns is very jarring and realistic. The entire segment may disturb some viewers.
