Tim Vine has ''never got over'' being booted off 'Comic Relief Does Fame Academy'. The 45-year-old comedian insists it was a ''travesty'' when he was voted off the charity version of the singing talent show - a spin off of the BBC's 'Fame Academy' - in 2007, but he isn't worried about making any mistakes when he stars in 'Let's Dance for Comic Relief' next month. He said: ''As a comedian, you have the great get-out clause of 'I'm an idiot,' so if I look like an idiot, it doesn't matter. I'm sure I won't be fantastic. I did 'Comic Relief...

Kelly Rowland has hinted that she may be in the frame for a judging role on Simon Cowell’s new American X Factor series.
The former Destiny’s Child singer has admitted that she has met with the music mogul ‘countless times’ to discuss joining his new panel and admitted that a role on such a juggernaut of a TV show would be a ‘great opportunity’ for her.
Kelly told Graham Norton, “I’ve met with Simon on countless numbers (of times). I love X Factor, personally, I think it’s fantastic. We’ll see. X Factor’s going to America… I’m there… no pressure! It would be a great opportunity.”
X Factor America will launch in 2011, though auditions will most likely take place this time next year. We aren’t expecting any announcements on the lineup any time soon, but we do think that Kelly would be a great choice for the panel…...

Former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowlands has hinted that she may appear as a judge on the upcoming season of X Factor.
Regular judge Dannii Minogue will miss the audition rounds of the show starting next month and Simon Cowell is reportedly looking for one or a number of celebrities to replace her on the panel.
Could Kelly be one of those people? In a recent interview she said that she loves the mentoring system in place on X Factor.
“I love X Factor and I think one of the things I love about X Factor is the fact that you get a chance to mentor the artists as well,” the 29-year-old told The Hits Radio.
“I’ve watched Simon and Dannii and everybody do that on the show and I think that’s one of the things I love about that show the most.”
She added: “Anything could happen,...

Sharon Osbourne has thrown a glass of water over yet another TV star. It’s becoming a bit of a habit for the Mrs O!
The former X Factor judge soaked Patrick Kielty this week, after he made a joke about her daughter Aimee.
Speaking at a Channel 4 gala in honour of Sharon, Kielty said that Aimme was a:
“credit to the Filipino nannies who raised her… unlike the rest of the family.”
He added: “Aimee’s been on TV once. Who could forget her appearance on The Jeremy Kyle Show when she desperately took a DNA test to try to prove you weren’t her real mother.”
“She’s the only child in Hollywood who’s tried to adopt African parents.”
Sharon then threw her water around him while screaming “I’ll f***ing kill you!”
Back in her X Factor days Sharon did the same thing to...

Rowland told New: “Well, everybody keeps asking me about it. The X Factor is an amazing show and Simon knows that all he has to do is call me.
“I love Simon because he’s so honest. When I watch it, everything he says I agree with… you know what, Simon’s got swag, which I think is cute.”
She added: “I don’t know what kind of judge I’d be. All I’ll say is, one of the things I love and respect about Simon is he knows there is no room for error in this industry and no room for slacking.

So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley, has claimed that she has forged a successful career for herself in America because she is more ‘real’ than their own TV presenters.
“When I watch shows in America, I feel that some of the hosts are a little ‘Stepford’ – in the nicest possible way,” she told the Radio Times. “It feels as if they’re more worried if the light is in the right place and they’re standing right than they are about communicating with an audience.”
She added: “The fundamental part of my job is to communicate with an audience in a very real way. I think I’m maybe a bit ‘realer’ than typical American hosts.”
So You Think You Can Dance launches this Saturday at 6pm on BBC One.
