This lawsuit might seem crazy — but that’s how it goes. Ozzy Osbourne’s Monowise Limited Corporation has filed a suit against the organizers of the Ozy Fest festival, claiming that the festival’s logo steps on Monowise’s trademark. The suit, filed against Ozy Media on Wednesday, claims that the Ozy Fest marks “are nearly identical in sight, sound, connotation and commercial impression to Mlc’s well-known Ozzfest mark.” Also Read: Ozzy Osbourne Slapped With $2 Million Lawsuit Over 'Crazy Train' Osbourne’s company contends that the Ozy Fest logo makes a point of associating itself with rock music. “Defendants...

As the daughter of “Prince of Darkness” Ozzy Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne was never going to have a traditional childhood. In fact, as she reveals in her new memoir, she had an X-rated youth that involved witnessing lots of sex, standing by for many graphic performances and unknowingly being on tour with a pedophile.
“My friends now might wonder why I’m single and don’t trust men, but they need only look back to my time on tour to understand why: the dynamic between the groupies and the bands was disgusting,” writes the TV host in There Is No F...

I saw Rob Zombie perform once, it was at Ozzfest 1999. The lineup that year was positively insane, with bands the likes of Deftones, Slayer, Primus featuring Buckethead, System of a Down, Slipknot, Godsmack, Drain Sth, Fear Factory, and Black Sabbath all throwing up the horns for one hell of an afternoon worth of loud, pulse-pounding rock n roll. This morning, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 director James... Read More...

Ozzy Osbourne and son, Jack, will be "circumnavigating the world" in their upcoming, 10-part History Channel series, Ozzy and Jack's World Detour. Only problem: Ozzy doesn't know what "circumnavigating" means. A trailer for the project finds Jack schooling his dad on world history (and vocabulary).
"What do you know about the Mayans?" Jack asks his dad. "They built them pyramids. They lived in the jungle," responds the Black Sabbath rocker. "They invented nothing," Jack tells a confused Ozzy. "They invented the concept of 'nothing.'"
Ozzy and Jack's World Detour premieres July 27th at 10 p.

Despite announcing their split after 34 years of marriage in early May, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne made the best of their situation when they teamed up for a special announcement at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday. Joined by musicians Zakk Wylde, Geezer Butler, and Corey Taylor, the Osbournes revealed the Ozzfest and Knotfest music festivals would be joining forces this year in San Bernardino. The former couple looked more than comfortable on stage together, with Ozzy holding Sharon close and the two sharing a few kisses on the cheek. Sharon opened up about her divorce on The Talk on Tuesday, confirming that they were no longer living together. "He's back, and I'm out of the house," she told her cohosts. "It's right for me because I honestly, at this point today, have no idea what I'm doing with the rest of my life. I'm 63 years of age, and I can't keep living like this.

Jada Pinkett Smith is glad she stood by her rock band after receiving death threats when they joined the line-up of Ozzy Osbourne's music festival, as the frightening incident became a "learning experience".
The actress/musician launched a music career in 2002 by forming her band Wicked Wisdom and she was delighted when they were invited to play at Osbourne's famous touring festival Ozzfest.
The move sparked anger from metal fans, and Pinkett Smith was bombarded by nasty messages, but she stood her ground and played at Ozzfest - and she's proud she was able to continue in the face of such adversity.
She tells Britain's Metro newspaper, "When I played metal music, I was mocked. I got death threats when I was added to the Ozzfest lineup but I stuck with it. At the end of that, people got on board. Me doing metal was one of my biggest learning experiences. A lot of my success is down to not being afraid... The Ozzfest kids were like, 'Hell no,' and I got tons of death threats. I didn't pay attention to them."
Pinkett Smith is also full of praise for her movie star husband Will Smith for helping her through the traumatic time, adding, "Will dealt with it. I just thought it was people on their computers with nothing better to do than spew stupid c**p. It got to the point my husband considered, but never did which I respect him for, asking me not to do it."...

Ever since forming in Suffolk in 1991, Dani Filth's Cradle of Filth have been one of England’s highest profile extreme metal bands. Over the years their musical style has evolved from a classic black metal sound to a cleaner, more "produced" mixture of Gothic metal, symphonic black metal and other extreme metal styles. Thematically the band’s imagery has pretty much remained the same: one that is heavily influenced by Gothic literature, poetry, mythology, sex and horror films.

Motley Crue star Vince Neil has fueled his ongoing war of words with Sharon Osbourne by calling the rock matriarch the "most evil" woman he knows in his upcoming memoirs. The two stars have been bitter foes for years and now Neil has really taken aim at Ozzy Osbourne's manager/wife in autobiography "Tattoos & Tequila: To Hell and Back with One of Rock's Most Notorious Frontmen".
And in the tome, the rocker reveals he still resents the way he and his bandmates were treated when they supported Ozzy on tour in the mid-1990s. The former pop singer was left devastated after learning of Worrall's alleged infidelities and split from the model last month.

Ozzy Osbourne has claimed that he never understood why Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson fell out with him. The Black Sabbath singer told The Quietus that his wife Sharon only arranged for eggs to be thrown at Iron Maiden during 2005's Ozzfest after Dickinson badmouthed his group on stage. Ozzy said: "Unbeknown to me, every night he was going on stage slagging me off. And that wasn't fair. If he didn't like the f**kin' tour, he should have said 'I'm jumping the f**kin' tour', but to go on stage and f**kin' slag me off for no reason... I'd never said a f**kin' bad thing to him. "Sharon got p*ssed off... it was nothing to do with me. I suppose Sharon got p*ssed off. I'll back my wife up to the hilt, (more)...

Ozzy Osbourne found retirement "boring". The heavy metal legend, who is currently on his "Ozzfest" world tour, doesn't think he will stop rocking until the day he dies. Speaking to Germany's FHM magazine, Ozzy, 61, said, "I tried that (retiring) and it was absolutely boring."
"You can't go and say, 'I'm retired now. That's it!' It won't take long and you're really gone for good and someone throws the last shovel of dirt on a coffin with your name on it. That's the moment you're really retiring - when you die."
However, the former Black Sabbath frontman, who is married to TV personality Sharon Osbourne, admits his current tour will be his last, as he no longer wants to be on the road for long periods of time. He explained, "This is going to be my last tour. I don't want to be on the road for this long anymore.

Ozzy Osbourne is a "hypochondriac". The 61-year-old rocker is always paranoid he is going to get ill and tries to stop himself from getting sick by exercising regularly. He said, "I'm a hypochondriac. I love exercise though, I like breaking out in a sweat. I don't do stretching or any of that s**t, I go on the cross-trainer of the bike."
As part of his healthy lifestyle Ozzy, whose wife Sharon Osbourne overcame bowel cancer, no longer eats junk food and he tries to only dine on organic products. He explained, "I don't like junk food any more. But it's easy for me to say that, I can afford all the organic stuff. If you can feed a big family a bucket of KFC chicken for 10 bucks then you'll do that. Not everyone can afford the healthy organic s**t they say we're meant to eat."

Ozzy, Sting and Gallaghers are among the Britrock influences on Infant Sorrow frontman in Get Him To The Greek
You may remember Russell Brand's character Aldous Snow from Forgetting Sarah Marshall. He was the singer of Infant Sorrow (they're named after a William Blake poem, innit?) who managed to lure Sarah Marshall out of the slacker hands of her boyfriend Jason Segel. For Ms Marshall, Snow's mix of skewed Brit machismo, titantic-sized ego and terrible tunes (he sang a song called Inside Of You without a hint of irony) were too much to resist. Well, Snow is back, back, back for Get Him To The Greek in which Brand gets to play a fantasy British rock star (elsewhere, P Diddy plays the scene-stealing record label boss while Jonah Hill tags along as his assistant).
Not only does Brand go po-mo by playing up to his persona as "drug taking,...

Ozzy Osbourne knows full well that his image as the deranged god of metal on a crazy train ride to oblivion has changed drastically over the past decade. While he was once known for (allegedly) biting the heads off of bats and (allegedly) snorting a line of ants, in these post-"The Osbournes" days he's more likely to go off on young metal acts who have forgotten about melody as he looks for the legal drugs that help him overcome a nagging tremor.
The Blizzard of Ozz talks about all of that and more in a new interview with Inked magazine, where the 61-year-old hard-rock icon holds court on everything from "American Idol" to his first tattoos and what life is like sober.

Usually Wake-Up Video is devoted to a great moment in music history, a notable birthday, an important event in sports or a vital holiday. But sometimes, it just helps to get a little boost to get things going on a Wednesday morning. Sometimes, you just need to get over the hump. Sometimes you need Mötley Crüe.
There's no shortage of news in the Crüe universe at the moment (for the sort of band they are, they have showed shocking resilience). Frontman Vince Neil has a forthcoming solo album as well as a memoir coming out later this summer (they are both titled Tattoos and Tequila), and drummer Tommy Lee just announced that the new album by Methods of Mayhem will be hitting the streets soon. And in between all that, the Crüe will be venturing out on the road as part of the Ozzfest tour in August, where they'll share...
