Personalities aside...a good series....
Many of these shows have now cropped up, and unfortunately some shows concentrate on the personality of the rescuer/vet; in the beginning that was fine, but the audience primarily tunes in for the animal- that is why this channel was called "Animal Planet", initially.
It is life affirming to see dogs survive a gunshot wound for example, and see the owner so grateful afterward. Also many viewers may learn about how to care for their pet, and this falls into the category of a good reality series- no egos, no people competing in sports or trying to climb the corporate ladder. Just animals getting the help they need.
Hopefully the producers will stick to the original formula. Audiences are not tuning in to hear about someone's wedding, or how they ran a marathon and graduated vet school at the same time. Stick to the heart of the matter. 8/10.
