- Robert: The day I met Alan we spoke over coffee for about three hours about art. And I come from Massachusetts where there isn't very much art. We have the Kennedys, we don't have art.
- Alan: The film I'm working on now is kind of a new thing for me. It's called 'No Pools for Sale'. It's a cultural comment on the decay of intelligencia in modern society. But it's funny, y'know. 'Cause you can't have a serious movie all the way through. So it's kind of a comedic cultural comment on the decay of intelligencia in modern society. But it's also got that action element too, y'know, 'cause people really dog those kinds of movies. So it's kind of a combat comedic cultural comment on the decay of intelligencia in modern society. But it also has that caring drama thing going on too, so it's... kind of a caring combat comedic cultural comment on the decay of intelligencia in modern society in 90 minutes. But with a heart. And in the right place. It's like 'Magnolia' meets 'Step Mom'.
- Alan: I mean, she's beautiful. And she has this quiet luminesces about her. And . . I mean, her eyes. She can really, really just sell you on something... by her eyes. They're . . I don't know what color. Kind of a grey-blue haze like the mist off a Connecticut seaport.... If I had to guess.
- Joe Josephson: I, uh, got into agenting at a young age. My father was always being followed by agents, so, y'know it kind of came naturally.
- Alan: Y'know, in every...in every single photograph I've seen directors always have these headphones on. I went out and I actually got a pair exactly like them. I don't know why. I don't know why they wear headphones. But you gotta go with the flow. I never see them with them on, they're just around their neck. So I put them around my neck and I take the cord and I...just stick it in my pocket.
