This documentary movie is about the Gran Premio de Turismo (long distance car race in Argentina in the sixties, similar to what actually are rallies).
It was at those times for production cars from many brands: Mercedes Benz, NSU, Borgward, Peugeot, Fiat, etc.) La Gran Carrera has excellent photography (beautiful landscapes of the North of Argentina) and music (if i am not wrong the main theme was from the famous tango bandoneonist Astor Piazzolla) and in the 60s was a must-see movie for the auto racing fans.
Highly recommended for vintage cars lovers.
