The Hurt Locker star Anthony MacKie opened a Brooklyn bar in New York so he could master his drink mixing skills.
The actor always dreamed of becoming a bartender but worried he wasn't good enough to hold down the job, so he set up his own place, No Bar.
He tells BlogTalkRadio.com, "It's a really cool traditional bar. It's not one of those 'I want to be seen' Manhattan swanky places, where the music is so loud you can't hear yourself think.
"It's a bar with good drinks and a cool pool table (where you can) come in and chill out. I guest bartend there all the time. I opened the bar because I always wanted to bartend but I always knew if I worked for somebody else I'd get fired. If I open a bar, I can't fire myself."
And he has already mastered his signature cocktail: "We have a drink called the No Bar, which is a play on the Caipirinha (Brazil's national cocktail) but instead of cachaca we use bourbon."...
