The western story is rather conventional
The photography in this offering is very good, but the Western story is rather conventional. The murderer employs the old device of placing the hero's pistol near the dead man, in order to have the blame thrown upon him, but in the end the truth comes out. The glimpses of the great flocks of sheep were interesting and might have been more comprehensive. - The Moving Picture World, May 3, 1913
