The Days of the Dead horror conventions have only been in existence for two years now, but they have rapidly propelled themselves towards the top of the heap on the convention circuit. The Dotd cons always have a party-like atmosphere that the fans seem to really enjoy, and this latest show in Chicago certainly was no exception.
Highlights of the show for me were the celebrity panels and signings. There was a Fright Night panel with most of the remaining cast of that seminal vampire film talking about their experiences on set. Fans also enjoyed a Ladies of Elm Street panel with some of the female cast commenting on their times on those films. Saturday saw a one day appearance of several key members of the upcoming fright flick The Collection, wetting fans appetites for that soon to be released film. Also on hand...
