Period action film Northmen - A Viking Saga is to receive its world premiere at the 10th Zurich Film Festival (Sept 25 - Oct 5) as part of the gala premieres strand.
Director Claudio Fäh and producer Ralph S. Dietrich will present the film alongside the cast including Tom Hopper, Ken Duken, Ed Skrein and Swiss actor Anatole Taubman on Sept 27.
This Swiss film, about a gang of predatory Vikings whose escape to Scotland ends in death and destruction, was shot in South Africa.
Swiss-born, Los Angeles-based Fäh is best known for directing Coronado, Sniper: Reloaded and Hollow Man 2.

Sander/Moses inks pact with Touchstone TV
Veteran producers Ian Sander and Kim Moses have inked an overall deal at Touchstone Television for their company Sander/Moses Prods. Under the one-year pact, Sander and Moses will develop series projects for the studio as nonwriting executive producers. Eleven-year-old Sander/Moses most recently produced the Lifetime series For the People, starring Lea Thompson. The company's credits also include NBC's Profiler and I'll Fly Away and the Lifetime telefilm Stolen Babies. Additionally, Moses and Sander penned a feature adaptation of Tess Gerritsen's novel The Surgeon for producers Buffy Shutt and Kathy Jones (Blue Crush), with Claudio Fah (Coronado) attached to direct. Sander and Moses are repped by WMA and attorneys Gunnar Erickson and Bradley Small.
