Very Early Travelogue
There are a lot of circular pans in this very long (for 1906) travelogue showing the waterfroot of Lucerne, followed by a long moving shot (taken from a boat, since the image rocks) to oe of the resorts on the lake. It's a portrait of a very prosperous bit of city and countryside.
It's a very early travelogue, stitching together several shots to give te audience a portrait. Soon enough, the film makers would add titles so tell the viewers what, precisely they were looking at. It would pretty much spell the end of actualities, in which the individual shots would appear separately; the last actualities would come out in 1908. For the moment, there are no titles.
