Wash It Before Crisping It In The Oven
James Brill narrates this Encyclopedia Britannica education film about how if children don't wash their skin, something bad will happen to it and them.
Of course it's hard to wash any part of your body but your skin. While you can brush your teeth and shampoo your hair, you can't clean your kidneys, because the skin gets in the way. Brill doesn't bring up this point. Instead he talks to his audience like they are idiots, a common thing for adults to do when speaking to children. It annoyed me then, and my usual reaction was to stare blankly at them. Speak normally to children, as if they are rational individuals, and you'll get a better reaction from them. If they don't respond well, hit them with a large stick.
