LONDON -- U.K. kid's rights specialist Entertainment Rights said Tuesday that it has signed a distribution deal with Cartoon Network in the Asia Pacific region to provide more than 80 hours of programming for the channel's launch in the region. Included in the deal are boys' action series Transformers Armada, Transformers Energon and Duel Masters, plus all three Barbie feature film, the companies said. Also included are preschool series Postman Pat, Little Red Tractor, Ethelbert the Tiger and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The deal follows Entertainment Rights' announcement Monday that it has signed a pan-European broadcast deal with Turner Broadcasting System Europe for Duel Masters to air on Cartoon Network and Toonami.
