Jai Ho sees Sohail Khan return to directing after Maine Dil Tujhko Diya (2002), his debut film as an actor. Jai Ho is yet another remake of a Telugu hit, Stalin, starring Chiranjeevi and Trisha. Sohali’s version stars Salman Khan, Tabu and Danny Denzongpa in pivotal roles.
Music has been composed by Sajid-Wajid (Dabangg franchise) and Amal Malik with Devi Sri Prasad as guest composer. Vocal talents consist of Wajid, Shreya Ghoshal, Shaan, Palak Mucchal and Himesh Reshammiya amongst others. The album features 9 tracks including 3 remixes.
Baaki Sab First Class is a satirical number sung by Wajid. The lyrics (Sajid, Irfan Kamal, Danish Sabri) are impressive however the repetitive dhol beats gets old quickly and Wajid’s rendition, while decent, suffers from a serious case of been-there-done-that. The remix of the track is equally unremarkable.

No make-up, no trendy clothes -- Sameera Reddy has got rid of her glamour girl image for the forthcoming movie 'Red Alert-The War Within'. And she admits that before signing the film she wasn't aware of the Maoist problem in the country.'The script was really appealing since it dealt with an issue. I was not aware of the Naxalite movement a-year-and-a-half ago. I want to dedicate myself towards it now,' Sameera, 27, told Ians.Even though she didn't want to miss the chance of doing a different role, Sameera had to face many difficulties during the shooting.'A transition from a simple girl to a Naxalite and picking up guns and fighting was difficult. It was also not easy to shoot in the jungles,' she said.Director Anant Mahadevan's 'Red Alert-The War Within' revolves around a cook, who falls into the Naxalite net. The film...

While on one hand you find millions and zillions of heroines going blah, blah, blah about their personal and professional achievements, there's just one girl who is 'Blah' personified (Bold Loud And Hot). She is none other than Sameera Reddy, the babe with a super-bindaas attitude, with looks to match and an attitude that speaks volumes. She started out her career with music videos and later caught Bollywood's attention to land a pivotal role in the film Maine Dil Tujhko Diya. Since then there has been no looking back for Sam. What helped her more was her adaptability to a myriad of roles and her versatile acting skills coupled with her inane ability and training in Indian classical dancing. In her 8 year long career, Sameera Reddy has been seen in only 10 Hindi films. Now that's quite a miniscule number for an actress who showed quite some promise when she started off and has always been known for her immense sex appeal and ability to make heads turn. One wonders what made her so choosy about the films that she does when she could have signed quite a few projects in a flurry."That's because I have never ever done films where it is necessary for me to show that 'hey, I am here so look at me'", says Sameera who was last seen in De Dana Dan, "Offers do come for all actors but then it is up to you that what do you pick and choose. Do you want to do most of the films that come your way or do you want to do...

She is hot, hotter, and the hottest! She is someone for whom the words like 'grace', 'poise' and 'stylish' seem like an understatement. She is none other than Sameera Reddy, the very name that symbolises perfection to the core, in whatever she does. Even though her debut romance with the camera was in the Pankaj Udhas' music video 'Aahista Aahista', her climb on the success ladder was anything but 'Aahista'. A gradual though but-obvious step, this lady took her giant leap from doing music videos to films with Maine Dil Tujhko Diya, a film that gave Bollywood its very own all-rounder, who is not just a stunner, but also can act exceptionally well. She was recently seen in the season's blockbuster De Dana Dan. Sameera Reddy will be live with you guys on December 4 at 1600 hrs Ist on Bollywood Hungama's Celebrity Chat. Make sure you tune in or simply be left out.

Sohail Khan tells Jyothi Venkatesh that it is never the actor but the character that an actor plays that makes a film click at the box office.
There was a time when he was just referred to as the youngest brother of Salman Khan. Over the years, ever since he had made his debut with Maine Dil Tujhko Diya opposite the then newcomer Sameera Reddy, Sohail Khan has come on his own and proved that he is not only just an actor but also a writer as well as a director, besides being a producer. Though his latest film as a producer cum writer cum leading man- Kisaan directed by Puneet Sira has not had a great.

Sameera Reddy’s been trying hard to find a footing in Bollywood. But neither romantic heroine roles( ‘Maine Dil Tujhko Diya’) or glam doll roles(like ‘Musafir’) worked for her.
She then turned towards meaningful cinema with talented Bengali director Buddhadeb Dasgupta’s ‘Kalpurush’. The film got critical acclaim but stardom still continues to elude Sameera. Even item songs and an occasional ‘Taxi Number 9211′ did nothing for her.
But the girl’s not giving up yet. Now she’s playing the role of a rustic Rajasthani woman in Nagesh.
