Great short stop motion animation film
Helder did some wonderful work here. It's actually not claymation, the correct term is stop motion, as there is no clay involved. The characters were constructed from wire skeletons and dryer lint. Helder actually got most of the lint from the leader of the Trash Band, who was a friend of a colleague, and had been collecting lint for years without any real reason until Helder came along. Anyway, the film in itself is excellent, and yes, a little disturbing for anyone objecting to a little cannibalism, even though it is redeemed in the end, and not involving humans at all anyways. The animation is rife with energy, even in holds when the characters are just standing there. If you want to learn about stop-motion animation, Helder is the guy to learn it from, and from what I have seen, this is his best work, with some excellent examples of set composition and timing, and is visually unique in terms of both texture and color scheme.
