In the 90s a lot of action fights with loud wailing and cliched flashy songs with innuendos became the formula for Tamil movies. Sukanya is a beauty with a cute smile . She wears window lacy knotty blouses . She is a vegetable seller and Karthik is the district collector . Karthik's grand mother Manorama starts liking Sukanya for her helpful nature . Soon both get married when Sukanya gets caught in a raid by mistake and he tries to come and bail her out . The villain Salim turns out to be Karthik's father who had abandoned his mother a long while back.
Manorama single handedly brings up Karthik . Yester yeear's actress Aalam comesi n a small role as Salim's quite silently suffering wife . A few fights and duets later all becomes well . Thousands of such movies were shot in many languages during the 90s This has nothing new to offer . A good one time watch .
