I like the bit where they all thought that they were really really funny but they actually weren't funny at all. They stole that gag from hey hey it's Saturday.

Vautin not missed

The Footy Show (NSW) is a strange kind of institution. Earlier this year (2005) Paul Vautin was seriously injured and couldn't perform. All viewers of the show wished Vautin the best, as it was quite serious. However, it was apparent that the show did not need him: it moved a bit better, and Johns, Sterling and Harrigan were good.

Whether the show will return next year (2006) is questionable - maybe it will become a late night show: its move back to football hasn't worked. And Vautin has too many weaknesses as host. Maybe he can move to the panel, and not be the MC. anyway, glad he's recovering, and may he continue to grow from strength to strength...

Great show, footy supporter or not

Warning: Spoilers
The NRL Footy Show is great for those who love entertainment and laughs for a Thursday night. In 2006, the show has based a bit more talk on the actual footy, and i think it has improved the quality of the show. With hosts Paul 'Fatty' Vautin, Peter 'Sterlo' Sterling, Paul 'the Chief' Harragon and Matthew 'Matty' Johns, the show continues to entertain. I enjoy the segments, particularly 'Thats Gold' and 'Vossys Rant'. It is also good to watch the player interviews, whether they are on the show or prerecorded. The insights into the representative camps is also enjoyable. Well, to sum it up, its a great show and i think everyone should give it a fair go.
