Jenny's dance double, who performs in one of the opening scenes, was three months pregnant at the time of filming. She didn't happen to mention it to the director until after the shoot.
The producers saved money on this film by shooting short ends. Normal rolls of film are about 400-1000 feet long. The short ends that they bought were about 150 feet long, so they had to reload every 90 seconds.
The first rough cut of the film was two hours and ten minutes long. The final cut is about an hour and a half.
Allison Akin Clark (Jenny) and Jake Fry (Choreographer) worked together on a cruise ship before working together on this film.
