Is the first wrestling title to feature a female wrestler (Luna Vachon)
Using a 3rd party cheat device, a unfinished 13th character can be found that resembles Sid Vicious with no top and long black pants. Its also possible it may have intended to have been Hunter Hearst Healsmly? The character has no moves of his own or a finisher and is just named Mystery. The Sega versions also have a mystery character but they just resemble Razor Ramons sprites.
Is the only version of the LJN/Flying Edge/Acclaim WWF 16-bit console era video games that both the Super Nintendo and Genesis versions each have identical wrestlers on the roster.
Is the 4th and last in the line of LJN/Flying Edge/Acclaim WWF titles. 1: WWF Super Wrestlemania 1991. 2: WWF Royal Rumble 1993. 3:WWF Rage in.the Cage (1994)
LJN previously made WWF Wrestlemania, WWF Royal Rumble and WWF Rage in the Cage for SNES and Sega Genises/CD. The company was bought out by ACCLAIM and that company took the already established programming of the first 3 games and added more than just the same set of moves for everyone with the exception of their finisher/signature move. Now moves like the chokeslam and various holds could be executed depending on what character you are using. In addition to this, they also added a super move for each wrestler that quite a lot of seemed very comical and took away somewhat the realism of the game.
