'Musik aus Studio B' was a 45 minutes music series, run on channel Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR). It was filmed in the Studio B, Hamburg- Lokstedt, Hugh-Greene-Weg and run from 22 October 1961 to 20 September 1976, on every 6th Monday at 9pm. All the performances were playback and in German, except some few ones (for example Sonny & Cher, The Lords, The Supremes, The Bee Gees). It was the first TV appearance of some performers. In the beginning there was no audience but after 1965, as they changed the location there was a live audience. The moderators were Chris Howland, Peter Fröhlich, Henning Venske (among others). They produced 97 Episodes all together, but unfortunately only 20 Episodes hold in the NDR archives.
