The concert footage seen at the end of the film was performed on the 22nd of June, 1981, along with the The Specials's that day, Hazel O'Connor, and the Reluctant Stereotypes Paul King too, performed. The concert itself was ...in aid of racial harmony...
There seems to be two conflicting concert dates; the Concert Archives website claims it to be the 20th of June, 1981 [Saturday] and the Coventry Telegraph [Coventrylive] claims the 22nd of June, 1981 [Monday].
"Why?", the song sung in this documentary, was a double B-side [along with "Friday Night, Saturday Morning"] of the seven-inch single A-side "Ghost Town"; released in the UK on the 12th of June, 1981, reaching Number 1 in the UK charts on the 7th of July. The song came about when Lynval Golding was attacked and hospitalised, in the summer of 1980, in London, England.
The title and movie poster make it seem as if this is a teen sex comedy, but it isn't. It doesn't include sex or nudity.
